ATS offers four (4) major
ballistic rubber protection systems: BulletStop™
bullet encapsulation blocks, VULCAN™
ballistic anti-ricochet panels, VULCAN
flexible ballistic curtains, and VULCAN
ballistic flooring. Each of these products are manufactured under
a proprietary formulation which combines, at the molecular level, RECYCLED
RUBBER with other rubber compounds under very high heat (above 300 degrees
F) and high pressure (in excess of 300 psi) to create a VULCANIZED rubber
raw material of very HIGH DENSITY and UNIFORM TEXTURE throughout. The
resulting VULCAN rubber compound has very high tensile strength, elongation
and modulus qualities essential for superior back splatter protection
and ballistic stopping power.
